Houston, Texas The fourth largest city in the US, Houston was heavily hit by bombs. The streets are filled with bodies, and some of the stores have already been heavily raided. Plenty of gang violence and hazards.
Sealy, Texas Located 53 miles West of Houston, Sealy avoided the bombs, but did not escape all of the radiation. Sealy's your average small town, and has held together after the war.

Galveston, Texas 70 miles South from Houston is Galveston, a mid-sized beach community. Galveston suffered badly from radiation carried from Houston. Acid rain and strong storms have become common, although there are relativally few aggressive survivors.
Big Thicket 100 miles East of Texas is The Big Thicket, the only part of the US, aside from the Florida Everglades, to be considered Jungle. Everything from bears to jaguars live in the big thicket. Recently, groups of people have moved into the densely wooded swamp.
